#PETE39S DX6 D3D DRIVER PS2#
The games look amazing btw, all first gen PS2 quality with no lag or freezing. Most of those settings are for special effects during loading screens, (such as the battle swirl in Final Fantasy 7), eliminating small graphical glitches (black boxes, outlines), and unnessecary over-killed graphic blending/filtering options (sharpening the text, adding several shades of a basic colour with hardly any noticable difference, things like that) Which slow down the fps,and cause lag or crashing when turned on. It took me DAYS to get this configuration, and it works perfectly for every game so far, only having to toggle the alpha multipass (which makes things transparent when turned off in some games) I get a perfect 60.00 frame rate which I push to 100.00 frame with no problems, even with high res games like Xenogears, Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire 4, Spyro, Metal Gear, ect. Comaptibility: 3 Enhanced 2 Hardware 1 Black 0 Emulated V-ram Unfiltered framebuffer updates Configure the sound the best you can, it only affects speed by a few fps.

And no special graphics card or anything nifty like that P.eops for sound Pete's OpenGl DX7 D3D (D3D Driver 1.7) for graphics (exact same as yours) Standard Texture Filtering (Option 1), Best colours, and 2XSai Filtering. Any suggestions? Best Answer: I use this: I have a basic Vista, 1 G ram. I have 1.2 gb ram and a Geforce FX5500 Nvidia Video Card. I have to use another older one called: Petes DX6 D3D Driver. I tried using the newest (most recommended one), Pete's OpenGL2, but I can't get a decent picture with this. I am not sure what kind of graphics plugin to use though.
